Approvals

NEMA hold approvals from numerous organisations within the aerospace industry and is able to comply with specific quality requirements that may be contractually imposed by customers.

NEMA has been a supplier to numerous known organisations for many years, including the Admiralty, commercial airlines, aircraft manufacturers and the Atomic Energy Authority. NEMA has undergone technical and quality assessments and been granted approvals by many of these organisations.

The company previously held approval by the Civil Aviation Authority under BCAR to manufacture products to supplied drawings and/or specifications and had done since the 1950's. However, when BCAR approvals ceased it was decided that commercial benefit and customer needs now lead the company in the direction of Aerospace Standards and registration on the OASIS database.

The company therefore holds independent accredited certification by National Quality Assurance to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and BS EN 9100(SAE AS9100) for all scopes of work undertaken from all location\sites operated.

These approvals are further supported by CAA welder approval under BCAR A8-10.
